The department aims to form an internationalized and culturally diverse learning environment in Eastern Taiwan. Specifically, we cultivate students’ respect for people, cultural sensitivity, interest in languages, understanding of the international community, and soft and hard skills through constructing a multilingual, culturally diverse, and internationalized environment. The university have signed agreements with 36 partnership universities outside Taiwan, and all our students have opportunities to participate in international exchanges in countries such as Japan, Australia, the United Kingdom, Germany, Singapore, and Malaysia.
 
Joint-degree program
Our department has signed a partnership agreement with Aichi Gakusen University in 
Japan. This enables students at our Department of Health Administration to study at
Aichi Gakusen University after studying for at least four semesters. Students can earn credits at the Japanese university and may obtain two degrees within a shorter time if they satisfy the graduation requirements of both universities. Aichi Gakusen University offers a 50% discount on tuition fees for students at our university. 
 
Exchange students 
The university signed a partnership agreement with Aichi Gakusen University in Japan on November 23, 2014. This enables students at our Department of Health Administration to satisfy the requirements for applying as exchange students to Aichi Gakusen University. Moreover, our students are eligible for sponsorship from the Japanese university to study and receive training as exchange students at the university.
